演讲人:
Paul Rullkoetter Ph.D., OrthoAnalysts
Dr. Rullkoetter received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University, and MS and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. He has worked in the orthopaedics industry at Johnson & Johnson Professional before joining the faculty at the University of Denver in 1998. His research focuses on the development of computational models to evaluate the performance of joint replacement implants.
Cheryl LIU, Ph.D., Dassault Systemès Simulia
As the medical device industry lead at SIMULIA, Cheryl has been focusing on advancing the applications and technologies of simulation in various sectors of medical devices industry including orthopedic, cardiovascular and drug delivery devices. She has also been involved with regulatory agencies in both research and development of simulation-related guidelines for the community. She started her career at SIMULIA in 2006 after receiving her Ph.D. degree in Orthopedic Biomechanics from University of Notre Dame.
