This topic describes the limitations of LMS Virtual.Lab. If available, alternatives are suggested to work around the limitation.
1,Discontinuous Displacement BC in Time Domain BEM: Time Domain BEM accepts only continuous velocity displacement boundary condition. Discontinuous velocity BC will be considered as continuous. Nevertheless, no warning is given to the user.
2,Fast Speed BEM: Fast Speed BEM (Padé expansion) is available only in sequential mode in Rev 9. Parallel computation will not be supported with this feature.
3,Unable to share nodes: Nodes cannot be shared between structural and acoustic meshes. This would result in a wrong mesh type assignment.
4,Vibro-acoustic Cases with structural pressure loading: The vibro-acoustic cases with structural pressure loading accept only pressure definition on the acoustic envelop (or part of the acoustic envelop). If the structural pressure loading is not applied on the envelop (or part of the envelop), the user gets an error message that the pressure must be applied on an acoustic mesh parts instead of acoustic envelop.
5,ATV and MATV based responses: The acoustic power and radiation efficiency are computed only on the first field point mesh in nodes are shared between field point meshes.
6,Selection of Load Vector Set as Boundary Condition Set: A Load Vector Set can now be selected as Boundary Condition Set in the acoustic cases. This can lead to confusion in the selection mechanism in some very particular cases. For those specific cases, it is recommended to create a new load function set at case creation time and select afterwards the wanted feature as input data.
7,Acoustic Field Response case in presence of distributed quadrupoles: An Acoustic Field Response Case using Acoustic Potentials from a linked document in which distributed quadrupoles are present is not supported in Rev 9.
For limitations on Desktop & Installations and Data Interfaces, please refer to the corresponding sections in the Common Limitations of LMS Virtual.Lab.
To know the list of known problems available on the LMS Customer Services website, go to the main menu Help LMS Virtual.Lab Web Resources. This will bring you to the LMS site, for which you need a login account that LMS has provided to you. Then go to the section Support, subsection Current Releases, and select there the VL release you are working on. The Release Notes contain a PDF document with Known issues and bugs.
这是帮助文档里面的,希望对大家有帮助.顺便问一下阿伟VL11的快速边界元支持并行吗?
