壳单元的厚度问题

我对金属板料的塑性成形过程进行模拟，整个模型是通过UG绘图软件导入的，所以金属板本身已经具有厚度，金属板之前曾用过实体单元C3D8R，也用过实体壳单元SC8R，在使用这两种单元时，我都是直接指定金属板的厚度。现在我想用壳单元S4R对金属板进行模拟，给厚度的方式如图，可是在data check的时候却出现了一个如下所示的警告：
