岗位职责:	Basic Functions: We open a position of Senior Software QA and Application Engineer to join our math solution team in Shanghai. This will be a creative person of critical thinking, with a strong interest to experiment and prove her or his ideas. The person in this role will be responsible for the quality assurance of HyperStudy, Altair’s general purpose design exploration and optimization tool. She or he will be working closely with HyperStudy program manager, development team, the technical writer, QA engineers of other products as well as the local team mates to solve challenging statistical and software problems. The person in this role will report to the Software Integrity (QA) manager. Duties and Responsibilities: ? Understand, verify and validate the use cases of HyperStudy as Altair’s design exploration and optimization solutions. ? Understand, verify and validate the new feature specifications of HyperStudy. ? Test planning and execution in an agile development process. ? Perform functional testing and user experience evaluation based on common workflows ? Perform numerical analysis experiment for accuracy, precision and performance evaluation. ? Defect management and tracking. ? Test automation and management. ? Work closely with the program manager, development manager and other stake holders of the product team to figure out feature development solutions. ? Work with the local, regional and global technical teams to provide statistical and optimization solutions.
岗位要求:	Requirements: ? At least 5 years of work experience in software development and quality assurance (or equivalent role). ? At least 3 years of experience in leading a team of 2 – 5 persons. ? Hands-on experience in test automation and management. ? Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, Batch, Shell or others is required. ? Hands-on experience in FEM and/or CFD software is required. ? Strong background in statistics, optimization or applied mathematics is a big plus. ? Experience in statistical analysis software such as Isight, modeFRONTIER, JMP, Minitab, Design-Expert, or equivalent products is a big plus. ? Experience in numerical modeling and analysis software such as MATLAB, Simulink, Scilab, Octave, LabView is a big plus. ? Experience in agile development process is a plus. ? Self-motivated and team player. ? Quick learner and enjoy working in an innovative and challenging environment. ? Good communication and interpersonal skills. ? Fluent Chinese and English language skills.
