JOB TITLE:   Software Engineer

JOB DUTIES:     Positionin the development group responsible for the NX Nastran structural finiteelement software.  Responsible for developing algorithms and writing andreviewing the associated computer software in a team environment.  Apply anunderstanding of customer requirements and how customers will use the product.  Participate in formal Requirements, FunctionalSpecification, Design Specification, and Test Plan reviews for software projects. Evaluate development, testing, andintegration processes to recommend improvements.  Contribute to product quality by fixingcustomer reported problems.  Assist with user documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:    Advanced degree in AppliedMechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering,  or equivalent.  

Desired expertise:
·        Finite Element Methodsas applied to structural dyanmics.
·        Background inNon-Linear Structure Analysis, theory & practice
·        Numerical analysistechniques for nonlinear transient/dynamic problems
·        Proficient in aprogramming language (FORTRAN, C++)
·        Sense of initiativewith good organization skills
·        Good communicationskills and the ability to work well in a team
