Implicit comparison between LS-DYNA and Ansys

1 Introduction
As we know, LS-DYNA explicit solution  is famous, but its implicit solution is rarely applied. Someone has discussed the implicit solution between LS-DNYA solver and other solvers such as Ansys or abaqus.

2 Preparation
I make a test demo for this problem as below. And the test is involved linear static and solid element.
The model is about pressure vessel and is simulated by solid element.
Details：1、inner pressure = 40 MPa
             2、Three faces are constrained in normal direction

3 Results and Conclusion
3.1 explicit and implicit in LS-DYNA:
(1) displacement

(2) vm-stress


3.2 implicit of LS-DYNA, Ansys and Opti



3.3 Conclusion
(1)  LS-DYNA implicit solver has also a good performance compared with ansys and optistruct;
(2)  The element types in different solvers should be matched.
