A fully funded Ph.D. position ($25,000/year for four consecutive years) is currently available in the field of Petroleum Geomechanics at Louisiana State University (LSU)。

Interested candidates are invited to apply for the Geotechnical Engineering Program in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, LSU. The anticipated start date is the fall semester of 2018. Topics of research for this position include mainly Poroelasticity and the Hydraulic Fracturing Propagation Modeling using the extended finite element method (XFEM).
