JOB TITLE: Project Test Engineer

JOB DUTIES:
•Create, design new project test plans to qualify the contents of project requirements and functional specifications.
•Design test cases listed in the project test plan.
•Conduct Pre Integration testing/Post Integration testing of projects and sign-off on time
• Perform system level testing during FPV and SLED tests
• Create and maintain automation test cases for projects  
• Develop knowledge and become technical expert for one or more CAE products. Design and implement new training courses and tutorials for fellow testers or documentation persons.
• Ensure that Code Coverage Analysis techniques are used to validate the completeness of all of the project testing performed.
•Improve test specifications by analyzing the root causes of technical issues and develop testing solutions for those root causes.
•Create and apply new approaches as necessary to improve the productivity and efficiency of testing.
•Acquire customer inputs for project testing purposes.
•Work with minimal supervision on complex projects with latitude for independent judgment.
•Broad skill set with extensive proficiency across multiple product lines (NX).

REQUIREMENTS
•Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer Engineering or equivalent
•Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an engineering position
•CAD, CAE software experience required
•Moderate level of experience using MS Windows required
•Good written and verbal English skills
PREFERRED:
•Experience of testing an engineering software is a plus
•Experience of using NX CAD/CAE products is a plus
•Experience using Finite Element solvers is a plus
•Experience using Nastran/SAMCEF is a plus
•Moderate level of experience using UNIX or Linux is a plus
•Ability to balance simultaneously product testing work with project testing work
•Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
•Ability to work with virtual team
