Can I find the stress at a location where there is not a node?As you no doubt know from your reading of the study package, you cannot find the displacement or stress at some arbitrary point inside an element. You can only find the displacement and stresses at nodes.
However, ANSYS is a very powerful package and one of its extra features is the ability for the end user to create their own macros to extract data from the solution tables and to then manipulate that date. I have acquired a macro called sxyz.mac that will find the nodes that are close to a coordinate and then interpolate between these to estimate the stress.
用法:
Download the macro and save it in the subdirectory that you are using for your analysis (the ANSYS Working Diretory). Save it as a text file called sxyz.mac. Now do your analysis as normal, and when you wish to find the stress at some funny location eg (25,37.5,0) then type the following into the ANSYS Input window .... sxyz,25,37.5,0,0 and hit enter. The results should be displayed in the ANSYS output window - so you may have to ALT-Tab to get there.
