拉伸破坏的设置（*tensile failure ）

在看本论坛里关于切削的例子时，学习到脆性材料失效的设置使用拉伸破坏，但是最近看帮助文档里有这么一段话：

This option is used with the Mises or the Johnson-Cook plasticity models or the equation of state model to specify a tensile failure model and criterion. It must be used in conjunction with the *PLASTIC, HARDENING=ISOTROPIC option; the *PLASTIC, HARDENING=JOHNSON COOK option; or the *EOS option.

好像是说要和塑性一起使用，因此不是很明白，脆性材料是在一定条件下才会表现塑性的啊，如果这个条件不存在，还要和塑性一起使用来定义吗

也有可能是我理解错误，请高手指点一下

The tensile failure model:
   
            ********is designed for high-strain-rate deformation of many materials,
                       including most metals;

********uses the hydrostatic pressure stress as a failure measure to model dynamic spall or a pressure cutoff;

********offers a number of choices for what occurs upon failure, including the removal of elements from the mesh;

********can be used in conjunction with either the Mises or the Johnson-Cook plasticity models or the equation of state material model; and

********can be used in conjunction with the shear failure mode

Manual里面没有提到这个能用于脆性材料。

“Manual里面从来提到这个只能用于脆性材料”总版主问的应该是从哪看出来只用于脆性材料吧？
可能是我表达的不够清楚，让斑竹误会了。
我没说他只可以用于脆性材料，我是在向大家询问脆性材料使用拉伸破坏来定义，但是又从帮助文档看着上面那句话（好像是说拉伸破坏要和塑性一起用），从而不知道该怎样定义脆性材料

lz能不能先确认下这个关键词能否由于脆性材料，有没有别人的inp或者manual介绍？

能用于脆性的，brittle cracking里面就有这个子项

不懂啊，看的很晕，我看帮助说， tensile failure要和EOS或plastic 一起使用，我最近在复现一篇文献内容，他是涂层弹性材料也加了tensile failure。我怎么加abaqus都报错，说是invalid float values...郁闷啊
