Basic Functions:
The QA Engineer is fully responsible for the testing and evaluation of theproduct for various use cases on different platforms. He or she will work withthe Program Manager and the development team, providing feedback onfunctionality, usability, and performance during the development and releasecycle.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create overall QA plans and test case documents.
• Review and finalize plans in conjunction with program Manager.
• Functionality, Usability and Performance testing of the software.
• Interact with the QA team and Program Manager.
• Evaluate, Develop and implement test procedures for automating softwaretesting.
• Create, maintain and report execution of test cases.
• Work with developers and Automation team to resolve there queries relating toproduct use cases.
• Resolve queries from customers and support teams.
• Report and Validate defect relating to the software.
• Review all documentation and Tutorials.
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of industry experience relating to system modeling.
• Strong work experience with software such as Matlab and Scilab is required.
• Strong work experience with software such as Simulink and Scicos is required.
• Experience/Exposure relating to Modelica language would be a plus.
• Experience/Exposure relating to testing and Quality assurance of softwaredesired.
• Aggressive and creative problem solver who is highly goal oriented.
• Good people, time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written) - the ability to articulateclearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences (PMs,Developers, Support Team,Customers, etc).
• Familiarity with other Operating Systems such as UNIX and Linux systems isdesired.
Minimum Education Required:
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering; MSc in Math or Automatics.
