Job Description for a Electrical Engineer position at R&D center of Wuxi plant, TECO-Westinghouse Motor CompanyTECO-Westinghouse Motor Company (TWMC) is seeking potential
qualified candidates to join its R & D center in Wuxi/China. The selected
candidates will work closely with TWMC R & D staffs in USA in the
future and will be trained in US prior to carry out the projects.

Qualification
Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering, specially in electric machinery (motors and generators)
Over 2 years experience in Finite Element Analysis of Electro-magnetic
field applying for electric machines (Magsoft, Ansys,....)
Knowledgeable in fundamentals of electrical design concepts for motors
and generators (induction, synchronous, and direct current machines);
Good English skills in writing, reading and speaking;
Knowledgeable in reading customer technical specification and provide
technical supports to marketing (Quotation or questions).
Responsibilities
Creating finite element models and conducting finite element analysis
using commercial FEA codes;
Use advanced computational methods to improve electric
motors/generators performance characteristics;
Performing electrical measurements using modern instruments and
interpreting the results to improve the new/existing products;
Recommend improvements to electrical design programs;
Actively participate new product development;
Provide technical supports for Marketing, troubleshooting in shop and
service division.
