Hi there,
Hope everything going well.
I have one question: Anyone knows how to choose the friction model in ANSYS/ LS-DYNA?
When we define the surface to surface contact, there are spaces for us to input some coefficient such as the static friction coefficient, kinetic friction coefficient, decay...
If I wanna use the Coulomb's Law of friction and input only the kinetic friction coefficient, (by this i mean the friction coefficient is constant, and is equal to kinetic friction coefficient), how to set that? 'Cause im afraid that if i just only input the kinetic friction coefficient without defining the Law of friction, Ansys may consider other coefficients (static & decay..) have zero value, and also use this equation ?c = FD+(FS-FD) e-DC(vrel) to calculate the overall friction coefficient. So the friction coefficient is not constant, and is not equal to kinetic friction coeffient.
Any one can explain for me?
Thank you so much
