PITTSBURGH, PA – May 14, 2002 ALGOR, Inc., a leading developer of mechanical  
engineering software, recently added Rhino support to their products. Engineers  
can now use ALGOR's new Rhinoceros Import Extender to directly open Rhino’s  
native 3DM files in ALGOR analysis products.  
  
The capability to import Rhino files directly into ALGOR will ensure the integrity  
of model data that is sometimes sacrificed when translating geometry to universal  
formats such as IGES or ACIS. Engineers can therefore model complex, free-form  
surface geometry in Rhino for products including boats, appliances, athletic shoes,  
and vehicles and then transfer that geometry directly in ALGOR for any analysis.
