As a man, you'd like to chase a beautiful girl and/or owing special characteristics attacting you.
As a woman, I certainly have my own rules of selecting my lover. But don't have chance to choose temporarily. What a pity. Sigh

In a word, that is impossible for no reason. That will only occur in fairy tales.

Sigh, but I have seen so many people love other people for no reason or just some ridiculous reason.
By the way, I have to tell you that someday fairy tales may happen in real world

Because you are young, I am old... Young guys are tend to love someone without considering too much reality. That's one of the difference between love and familylife board.

If you list the reasons that is real, you may think they are not ridiculous.

I think the reasonable ones are,
1. appearance (beautiful, handsome and/or 'muscles' or sexy in general)
2. competence (measured by GPA in school and money & status after graduation). partly result from good education
3. sense of humor and being humorous
4. independence
5. persistance ( should be another word, but I forgot)
6. other things that attracts you
All the attractive people have kind of mixture of these merits. It is difficult to find perfect lover...

perch88, you are going to find a person living with you in the future, but not a good worker or student right? (and you are so excellent that almost no one can reach that list) So I think the most important thing is that whether he can enjoy the whole life with you

totally agree.

But this special abilities has to be something that can help sustain the love and couldn't be seperated from his/her ..... listed above. The passion for love will last at most 2 years and then his/her..... will become dominant factors in the end anyway. I forgot to mention personality, which is certainly a significant factor as well to keep the marriage alive.

I think the items on the list are what everybody dreams of. Nobody would say NO if he/she has the opportunity to have the love of a perfect one. Whatever, love is a long journey but a magic wonderful thing in our mind. We will end up with the love in between dreamed love and realistic love.
