楼主说的是64bit系统吧，好像从5.2开始就支持了。
一般我们用的都是x86

从CPU usage上看，好像一般的Mathematica不支持。但是有专门的GridMathematica是为并行设计的，双核当然没问题。

单机多核还有一个parallelMathematica的产品。不过普通版本的Mathematica也可以搞并行处理。在Evaluate菜单下有一个Kernel设置，你可以添加新的Kernel并进行相应设置

如何设置还没看明白，但5.2版看是可以支持多核的。不知道v6版的情况是怎样的，是不是简单设置就可以？
