Basic Functions:

The QA Engineer is fully responsible for the testing and evaluation of the product for various use cases on different platforms. He or she will work with the Program Manager and the development team, providing feedback on functionality, usability, and performance during the development and release cycle.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Create overall QA plans and test case documents.
- Review and finalize plans in conjunction with program Manager.
- Functionality, Usability and Performance testing of the software.
- Interact with the QA team and Program Manager.
- Evaluate, Develop and implement test procedures for automating software testing.
- Create, maintain and report execution of test cases.
- Work with developers and Automation team to resolve there queries relating to product use cases.
- Resolve queries from customers and support teams.
- Report and Validate defect relating to the software.
- Review all documentation and Tutorials.

要求 : Skills and Qualifications:

- 2-3 years of industry experience relating to system modeling.
- Strong work experience with software such as Matlab or Scilab is required.
- Strong work experience with software such as Simulink or Scicos is required.
- Experience/Exposure relating to Modelica language would be a plus.
- Experience/Exposure relating to testing and Quality assurance of software desired.
- Aggressive and creative problem solver who is highly goal oriented.
- Good people, time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills (verbal/written) - the ability to articulate clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences (PMs,Developers, Support Team, Customers, etc).
- Familiarity with other Operating Systems such as UNIX and Linux systems is desired.
