有限元数值积分,有newton-cotes积分和高斯积分,其中newton-cotes要求积分点的位置是在积分域上等距排列的,我想知道为什么有这样的要求?是不是这样,在积分点以泰勒级数展开后,除余项外其他倒数项的积分为0

Whether the integration points are uniformly distributed or not depends on what kind of polynomial are chosen to be approximated. In Netwon-Cotes rule, we chose Langrange polynomials which requires the integration points equally distributed.
