D.i prefer D to others for its brief description.

A is too long, it can be used in your paper.
B and C can be used in your report.
D is good enough to be applied in both paper and report situation.
Actually, I don't want to choose any of them, I believe Fermi may show us better choices.

No.... They are all description of how engineer works as key factor for material.

I like know which quotation you like best.

what i said is just in my own opinion and there is no one best of all,maybe i am wrong
