You are so excellent, From your answer, I know u can play piano ,have learned Japanese for a yearand the ability of English is so wonderful, I almost envious of you ,hah
If you need to take lessons at the maths,I am sure you will be versatile person!

:$ ,I was forced to learn piano in my childhood and having no other choice to learn Japanese.
If I can make the decision I will choose French~~And I didn't play piano for quite a long time.
Though my English is just so so I won't be shy to practice it~~

I don't know why OP put a restriction against viewing the question explicitly.

The question appeared in some junior middle school textbooks.

(x+2)^0.5=2=>x=2 (This is how a middle school student can sort it out).

But the question itself does not comply with the standard language of modern mathmatics.
