Software Development Group Leader


Job Description:

- lead a team of software developers

- will coordinate development activity under pune management team

- play a leadership role to ensure that products are intutieve easy to use and functionally on target

- interact closely with product marketing team

- Designs, writes & implements software programming applications

- Participates in maintenance and troubleshooting activities, testing process and test reviews

- To perform the functions of the job as per instruction and pre-established guidelines

- To follow disciplined software development practices. Good understanding of SDLC

The key requirements for this position are:

- English as a Second Language a Must

- Graduate (BS), Post Graduate(MS) in Computer Science /Engineering

- Excellent Analytical & Problem Solving skills with Strong programming skills (C, C++)

- Should have 5+ years of experience in software development with experience of managing the projects independently

- Exposure to lead small teams
- Good Communication skills
- Experience in working on a large complex software (> ½ million lines of C/C++ code) is desirable.

- Knowledge of ShipBuilding domain is highly desirable

- Knowledge of CAD software (CADDS5-Tribon-Foran-Pro/E-CATIA V5) is desirable;
