Scope and Objectives:

This 8th CMBBE symposium, follows successful meetings held at Swansea, Barcelona, Lisbon, Rome, Madrid and Antibes. The symposium series concentrates on communicating innovations, exchange of views and networking in the scientific development of computational biomechanics and biomedical engineering. It aims to stimulate the changing and expanding area of computational biomechanics and simulation and related software systems, which now form an increasingly important role within the medical technology and healthcare sector. The meeting will focus on the importance of integrating such disciplines as computational biomechanics, medical device technology, simulation of biological structures and the rapidly expanding field of modelling clinical and surgical procedures as well as developments in computational biology.   Read More......
