感觉还是不怎么理解，大家是怎么理解的？都谈谈自己的看法~~~

To my knowledge, the results from random vibration(RV) analysis are a range of probability. thus results are not even approximate valves but only possibility of occurrence . while the results from response spectrum if based on history data,they are more meaningful than RV.

Two are different approaches in maths while methodologies are similar.

response spectrum得出的是最大激励的响应值。随机振动是随机激励，包含很多频段。设计的时候，要根据标准，有的要求随机分析。比如说一个频段内。尤其是电子产品。

区别：
1）随机振动的输入假定是无限长的随机时间历程信号，用功率谱密度表征，通俗的说是不同频率的能量分布情况。随机振动的量值都是统计值。通常还要假定信号的统计规律，比如平稳、各态历经、高斯分布等，sigma因数等；
2）Response spectrum 对应的输入是有限长度的时间历程信号，用Response spectrum 表证。
Reponse spectrum 的定义罗嗦一点，土木工程研究地震常用，楼主自己查书去吧。
