United Technologies Research Center (China) Ltd. invites qualified individuals to apply for the following position in the Shanghai office. This position will compensate the chosen candidate at the local Shanghai market wage rate, and benefits will be administered based on local Shanghai benefit practices.

Energy and Mechanical Systems: Structural Acoustics Specialist

工作地点：上海

Job Requirements:

· Solid background and experience in structural acoustics modeling, test and control

· Understanding and use of structural acoustics computational modeling tools (SEA, BEA, FEA, EFEA, etc.) as well as the practical limitations of the tools.

· Proficient knowledge of design and implementation of active and/or passive noise and vibration control solutions.

· Ability to provide timely, accurate and detailed reports and presentations

Preferred Candidates will possess the following:

· Master or Ph.D in Acoustics or a related area.

· 2-5 years experience in structural acoustics modeling and analysis.

· In-depth knowledge of rotating machinery is preferred.

· Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in both China and USA

· Fluent English (both written and spoken) and excellent communication skills
