Support and perform FEA analysis and modify/optimized design(s) to ensure reliability of product assemblies and/or components such as end housings, wheels, vanes, actuators bracket etc.
Prepare documents that specify the methodology and/or instructions of mechanical design/analysis procedures for different components/assemblies of turbocharger.
Provide suggestions in continuous improvement of current infrastructure and methodology.
Propose AOP projects to meet the goals of deliverables each year.
Comply with company 6-Sigma requirement and use the 6-Sigma tool appropriately.
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Engineering discipline in mechanics discipline with proficiency on Ansys.
Strong background in applied mechanical engineering, life prediction and statistical analysis
PC proficiency required and familiarity with UNIX OS, Proficiency in ANSYS is strongly preferred
Familiarity with CATIA design package is a plus
Sound English communication skills in both oral and writing
