ATL Battery (http://www.atlbattery.com/) is actively looking for specialists with strong mechanics/thermal/electrochemical background to meet the rapidly growing simulation need.



Vacancy #1: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Specialist



Requirements:

1.       Ph.D. in fluid mechanics and/or heat/mass transfer OR Master with at least one journal publication in relative fields;

2.       Strong numerical analysis background is required;

3.       Good English writing and reading is required;

4.       A good understanding of optimization theories is a big plus;

5.       Multiphase flow modeling experience is a big plus;

6.       Relative scientific coding experience is strongly preferred;

7.       Chemical/Process Engineering background is preferred.

8.       Electrochemical system modeling experience is preferred.



Responsibilities:

1.       Communicate with other teams to set up the target problems;

2.       Independently perform numerical modeling & simulation as well as optimization;

3.       Generate project report at the standard of scientific journal publication.



Vacancy #2: Computational Solid Mechanics Specialist



Requirements:

1.       Ph.D. in solid mechanics OR Master with at least one journal publication in relative fields;

2.       Strong numerical analysis background is required;

3.       Good English writing and reading is required;

4.       Blade cutting modeling experience is a huge edge;

5.       A good understanding of optimization theories is a big plus;

6.       Collision/crack/welding modeling experience is a big plus;

7.       Relative scientific coding experience is strongly preferred;



Responsibilities:

1.       Communicate with other teams to set up the target problems;

2.       Independently perform numerical modeling & simulation as well as optimization;

3.       Generate project report at the standard of scientific journal publication.
