One or more elements have become highly distorted. Excessive distortion of elements is usually a symptom indicating the need for corrective action elsewhere. Try incrementing the load more slowly (increase the number of substeps or decrease the time step size). You may need to improve your mesh to obtain elements with better aspect ratios. Also consider the behavior of materials, contact pairs, and/or constraint equations. 上面说了“If this message appears in the first iteration of first substep, be sure to perform element shape checking”，你的情况正好是第一步就不收敛，那你就检查检查单元吧。
假如你在后面的载荷步中也出现不收敛，原因是单元变形过大，那你可以适当的减小载荷步长，让计算变慢一点，还有就是检查约束，有时变形过大是因为约束不够。以上方法是我经常采取的。希望对你有帮助。
