Graduate research assistantship is available to motivated students who are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. degree in computational mechanics. The graduate research assistant will participate in funded research projects and conduct crash simulations using nonlinear finite element analysis. A bachelor degree in mechanical, civil, or aerospace engineering is required. An M.S. degree is preferred but not required. Applicants with an M.S. degree will be guaranteed to receive a tuition waiver along with this assistantship. The position is available immediately and will remain open until filled.
