interface material 材料参数问题，求指导！！！

在学习aba1.4.5的那个例子，其中的这一点不太了解,还想请教各位。
The elastic properties of the interface material are defined using uncoupled traction-separation behavior ,with stiffness values of E= 1.0 × 10^6 MPa, G1= 1.0 × 10^6 MPa, andG2 = 1.0 × 10^6 MPa.
第一个：复合材料层与层之间，是真实存在粘接层还是不存在粘接层只是基体树脂， interface material 只是为了仿真方便？
第二个：这里的 interface material 的刚度值是怎么得到的？是材料的固有属性么？
实在是有困惑，还请各位帮帮我吧~
