延长surface, 螺栓孔莫名其妙消失

我有一个模型，中心有一个很大的钢管柱，周边是一些钢板加劲肋。这些加劲肋与钢管焊接，在一个加劲肋板上有一些螺栓孔。我要把加劲肋板延长使其和钢管有焊接的公共边（黄线或绿线）当我使用surface edit->extend命令时，钢板是延长了，但那些螺栓孔全都消失了。我不知道这是怎么回事，应该修改哪个设置才能不影响钢板上的孔。谢谢！

I do not know if it is a system bug, you work long enough in HM, you see lots of bugs.
I am not a HM developer, just using HM as a tool to prepare my model. So when there is an alternative way, I do not care about why this way does not work as long as there is other way to do it.

The beauty of HM is there is always multiple way to do one thing. Sure, extending is the easiest way to do what you want to do here.
If I were you, I would just cut the cylindrical surface with the edge of rib, and then create a surface using two parallel lines (edge of rib plate and cut edge on the cylindrical surface), and then toggle the shared edge.
