牛Then the relation between the hydrostatic pressure, the local density (or specific volume) and local specific energy (or temperature) is known as an equation of state.
The equation of state can be determined from knowledge of the thermodynamic properties of the material and ideally should not require dynamic data to build up the relationship. However, in practice, the only practical way of obtaining data on the behavior of the material at high strain rates is to carry out well-characterized dynamic experiments. It is important to recognize that, since the relationship is required for use in a numerical code, an analytic form is chosen to facilitate solution. Such an analytic form is at best an approximation to the true relationship. Further, the equation of state may be given in extensive tabular form and in that case the analytic form chosen can be considered as an interpolation relationship. |
