This section discusses the procedures used in ABAQUS to analyze the finite element model of the inflatable dam. It is suggested that the reader refer to ABAQUS manuals Vol. 1 and 2 while reading this section.
In the present study, the dam is modeled using 1500 shell elements of S4R type in ABAQUS. Thenumber of elements used depends largely on the geometric parameters such as。。。。
