Now, I am simulating the impact experiment, one projectille is fired and impacts the side of the plate. My first step is to simulate the stress wave propagation. Because I am beginner,  I really appreciate you all if you can give me some suggestions which part I should read and how to get involved step by step. Thank  you very much!

这个不好说。起码abaqus基础的东西您得会一些，如单元，边界条件。
动力学分析，如果是隐式分析，那么看看impilicit dynamic得关键字，如果是显示分析那么看看abaqus explicit 的设置。
