particle trajectories

Hello,



When I use the particle trajectories plot I’m interested in determining the actual coordinates of the particle (not just be able to visualize a line representing the trajectory). I want to extract information of other variables at these coordinates.



Anybody knows how to do this?

I don't think there is an easy way to do this. You would have to solve the ODE's yourself in MATLAB or COMSOL Script, using the postinterp command to query the bulk fluid velocity and density for each particle at each timestep. I have done this myself, and if you optimize your code with the MATLAB profiler, then you can simulate 10,000's of particles without excessive computation time.
