本人想应聘CAE工程师，但不知道目前CAE工程师的薪资水平是多少？

maybe not that much as jinqinghai said for a fresh CAE engineer, even in big cities such as Shanghai or Beijing, but will be an expectation some years later.

To my private viewpoint, maybe the salary for a CAE position depends on several main aspects ,for instance, the company's scale, what industry, and the person's work experiences.

Here, I also can give you an example as a reference for you. My friend have master degree and is 31, have already worked for 6 years as a CAE engineer in a famous foreign company. His current monthly salary is 10000. But to tell you the truth, his salary is a little lower.

as I know, in Shanghai, the highest monthly salary for a fresh FEA Engineer with PHD is a little bit more than 9000.
