Hey, guys..
Would you mind fixing this problem for me. I really have no idea about what's wrong wiht this input file.

your input file have two small problems
first, you make a nonexistent Node output ----hostsoil   , I change it to HOOP
second, you define two kinds of materials with the same name---clay
           because the two materials have no difference,  you can define one
           or change their names.----clay1,clay2

Thanks for you reply.
I understand the first small problem. i have already changed it into node set'soil'.
but the problem is i still cannot excavate the borehole part in my analysis. have you ever check the results
using this model? does  it work in your computer?

i am in my office, my conputer didn't install abaqus ,so i cann't find  any problem without  abaqus cae enviroment . i'm so sorry.

1.all model must have correct dof.
2.be attntion to your remove & add tunnel  element set

Yes , it works well in my computer as what I changed
Maybe  the borehole has been excavated, just not be displayed
