But scientist is matching to same theory, maybe.

engineering makes theories useful in our life, its focus is application.
science focused on "WHY", no matter it's useful or useless.

Science originated from engineering.

mathematics is more about reasoning,

physics is more about modelling the world (micro- or macro-),

chemistry is more about chemical matter and reaction.

Naive notion of science means natural science.

ALL in all,
Science is the art of abstraction; and it plays its role in the scenario-engineering.
