壳单元和plane stress的关键区别是:plane stress 只承受面内的力,不会有垂直于单元面的变形(不会弯曲);壳单元受垂直于单元面的力,会发生弯曲变形。
ABAQUS Analysis User's Manual
4.2.1 ABAQUS/Standard output variable identifiers
For plane stress, membrane, and shell elements, only the in-plane tensor components (11, 22, and 12 components) are stored by ABAQUS/Standard. The out-of-plane direct component for stress (S33) is reported as zero to the output database as expected, and the out-of-plane component of strain (E33) is reported as zero even though it is not. This is because the thickness direction is computed based on section properties rather than at the material level.
即在ABAQUS的结果中, plane stress, membrane, and shell elements 垂直于单元面的应力 s33总是0 (与力学理论相吻合),垂直于单元面的应变 E33 也总是0 (即使力学理论中的 E33 不等于 0)。
