应力应该接近 E*alpha*Delta_T/(1-nu) where E is Young's modulus, alpha is the thermal expansion coefficient, Delta_T is the temperature difference. nu is the Posion's ratio.

But for glass, it might be orthotropic material.

You have to very careful about the total transient solution time and the size of the time step. It has to be small enough in order to observe the thermal shock effect. You can check some heat transfer book. There is a parameter called Biot number which can tell you at which time instant the stress  reached the maximum.
