Mathematica GuideBook  系列： Numerics, Symbolic, Graphics 和Programming的电子Notebook （nb）文件，总共大概有10GB。 即使放到网上，也很难下载。 文件大的原因是里面有很多计算输出的图形。 我试了一个大概500MB的Notebook, 把里面计算得到的图形删除之后，才5MB，然后压缩之后才490Kb. 我觉得这样比较好，读到那儿的时候，运行几个Cell，就可以得到图形了。
传一个干净（没有图形）的nb， 贡献积分加20。
删除输出的Mathematica 代码：

1. FrontEndTokenExecute["DeleteGeneratedCells"]

复制代码

把Mathematica代码贴到文件最后，然后执行最后一行代码。 这样绝大多数的图形都没有了，但是有一些是Art Gallery， 是上面给代码（program 格式），然后把产生的图形作为Input, 这样的需要手工删除。 方法： Ctrl ＋A,  然后Ctrl＋Shift＋{, 打开所有的Cell， 用眼睛找了之后删除图形。 由于人的眼睛对动的有色彩的东西比较敏感，所以可以从文件开头，然后按着Pagedown, 看到有图形闪过的时候，再下来，所以向后一翻，就到图形那儿了。

I tested Mathematica on online server, very fast.
Twice faster than on my laptop, it makes me decide to change a new computer next week.

If the file is unevaluated, it's small size; if evaluated big size.  Graphical output makes the file grow enormously huge.

The author used a 2GHz Mac computer with 1GB RAM to write the book.  According to the author, some of the code took days to run; however, the code can be run within an hour by modifying some parameters.
