Words confusing and clarification

I am confusing the below two pairs of words.

Visitor and Guest

Country and Nation

What's the difference between the meaning?
Or any suitable example to divide A from B ?

Boths of them sounds same in our native tongue,
I am wondering, Is Chinese less powerful language to define the world ?

侧重点不一样吧？
Visitor，是访问者，游客。
你去某地旅游，在别人眼里，你就是visitor，别人不一定就把你当作guest 了。
guest是客人了，强调的是“客人”这种感情因素。

country侧重指国家，偏于疆土边界地域概念。
nation主要用来指民族。nation也可以指国家，指国家时，强调的是组成国家的所有的民族的人。

我个人的理解，不一定对。
