Preparation:
The test has to be carry out with a door inclusive the complete locking system. The door has to be mounted on a cabin or a rigid test frame.


Load case:
Apply of a quasistatic force on the door handle with a low speed rate until the maximum value of the force is reached. The direction of pulling on the door handle corresponds to the direction of actuation of the door handle.
The outer door handle has to be pulled parallel to the vertical axis in both direction (Z direction) until the maximum force is reached.  
Maximum force: 1000N
Test temperature range: 23 5

Target:
After removal of the force load, the basic function of the Door handle as well as the locking system must be maintained. A Damage, functional interruption or break down of the system must not occur.
