Dear all,

I am currently working on 2-d EM analysis. There is a time varying
current source in air. I use quasi-static analysis due to the slow
varying frequency in my context. I define the initail Az calue. When
I do post data analysis, the solution will be in terms of Az, right?

If I want to get value of B-field, can I simply use this command:
u=postinterp(fem,'normB',p); where p are the points which I am
interested in. Or must I define a curl equation to get B values from
the Az output values?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

The solution will be in terms of the solution variables which
presumabley are A-field and B-field? If this is the case then nB (which
is normB) will work fine.

If you look in postprocessing options in the gui, it will give you a
list of solution variables to display on each of the graphing tabs.

Regards,

Alex

Re:post data analysis

Thanks Alex.

I think that is fine. So I can assume it is about the
same if I move onto 3-d analysis, isn't it?

Re:post data analysis

Yes, the same still applies.
