我觉得，要理解所谓的智能，需要理解很多很多东西；比如，知识如何获得和存储的，有智能的行为是如何产生和如何学得的；还有诸如动机，情绪，偏好等，是如何产生，又如何发挥作用的；又比如，来自外界的感觉信号是如何转变为可以作逻辑处理材料的心灵之内在符号，使得心灵可以据此对过去做推理，对未来做出计划等等；还有，智能的机制如何产生了诸如幻觉，信仰，恐惧，梦想 – 乃至仁爱等等心灵现象。

对这些，哪怕只是一个极为基本的理解，也会是一个可以和原子物理，相对论，分子遗传学等，相类比的伟大科学成就。
