The average FEM is built on the Lagrangian system, and the most multibody dynamics or molecular dynamics refers to the Hamotonian system. Both systems could be converted by Legradure Transformation at the point of energy. There are more and more algorithms developed with both systems, such as the energy conservation time solver for the nonlinear FEM.
For the Euler system, I just simply believe it is a very basic physical system like we learnt in high school, correct me if it is wrong. |
