第一次在这个论坛看帖子 看的热泪盈眶 就像朋友们和我说的 有些事情只有 感同身受了 才能完全体会吧

couple of comments according to my personal feelings:
1. it is not a wise idea to join a company that does not have a lot of accumulation right after your graduation. first three years of your graduation, your priority is to accumulate experience. you have to have someone experienced to mentor you, saves you tons of time.
2. when there is only one guy in CAE team and you feel workload is high, you should ask the boss for headcount budget. seems like your boss is not a real master in your area, as long as you insist, either you have less workload input, or you will have someone to assist you. if the new guy is less experienced than you, then you probably become a team-leader; if the new guy is a lot experienced than you, you will have a mentor. it is a win for you in either situation.
3. CAE is not simply a support tool. it is true that what design team and process team are producing stuff. but, CAE team and test team have the right to validate the design. i call that thing POWER! it is all about if your simulation is precise or not. with enough successful judgement made by CAE team, sometimes CAE simulation can take over test validation. believe me, CAE is cheaper than test. CAE was introduced to this world to replace the real test.
4. you have to realize that CAE cannot live without test result. it is mandatory to invest a certain part of time to do research (correlation with test result, new methodology, model simplification). if the projects take 100% of your time, that means your company is not gaining any know-how. you are not growing neither. |
