【原创】 Applied stress to a model

I met a problem when running UMAT: there is no error messages give out and no output either. Is this normal ? If this is the case how can we find out the erros in the umat?
  
The second problem is how to define  stress and its increment in the initial step?
  
According to the manual stress is a variable that can be defined. But there is no detailed example to define the first step stress and stress incrment. Can I just set it like
stress(k1)=0.
dstress(k1)=0.
in the loop? or should I use initial condition to add them? how?
