[Dytran算例讨论] Interacting coupling problem in dytran

hi all,
      i do not know Chinese i use this forum with google translator. I have a problem in dytran as follows

     "Lagrangean element (ID=50) belongs to two coupling surfaces (SURFA201SURFA101) but both Eulerian regions are on the same side. This is not allowed for interacting coupling surfaces. Please check your input."

      Could you please answer me in English or Turkish

One common element belongs to 2 coupling surfaces is not allowed in Dytran. So you should define a dummy element as exactly same as element(ID=50) and let the 2 coupling surfaces havn't common element.

but i defined a hole between coupling surfaces so it must be common for the 2 coupling surfaces. I use "porflcpl" entry to define a hole between two of the coupling surfaces. They are also dummies. All of the shell elements are dummy in my model. What is the problem you think?

Hi,Gubarrani

I havn't experienced the problem you described.  But I guess you have to define two holes with same properties at the same location .

It means that you seperate two coupling surfaces.

I am not exactly sure about you problem.  You can try and leave your results later.

i tried your advice it seemed worked well at first but now i have another problem. Let me explain the whole process firstly. There will be two container and two pipes in the model. Pipes and containers are connected each other. In a nutshell, two containers connected with two pipes. So there must be common elements with containers and pipes. I defined them as holes which has to be in the container coupling and pipe coupling. Now i have four coupling surface. My  dytran code does not give the "interacting coupling problem" anymore. But i cant see the flow between coupling surfaces, especially form the first container to the pipe.

This is my dytran code, i did not give the initial conditions. Domain 1 and domain 4 are containers. domain2 and domain3 are pipes. I tried to create a hole at property 1 but it didnt worked up to now. I cant see the flow from the domain4 to domain2. What is the reason? Thanks...

I try to imagine you model but it is a little complicated . Could you upload a picture of your model and mark the coupling surfaces you defined?
